Major Manufacturers OTICON, BERNAFON, GN RESOUND and SIVANTOS have recently released a range of new hearing aids with improved speech processing capabilities.
The OTICON MORE range of aids utilize a significant improvement in the use of Artificial Intelligence and build upon their previously highly successful OPN S range of aids.
The BERNAFON ALPHA range of aids also utilize Artificial Intelligence and now have a central processing chip with significantly improved memory and speed that builds on their successful CHANNEL-FREE processing software.
The GN ONE range of hearing aids introduces a third microphone which sits at the entrance to the ear canal. This provides a far more natural soundscape, improving reproduction of own voice and environmental sounds. It also appears to improve telephone communication in certain situations.
SIVANTOS has introduced motion sensors into their latest offering, the SIGNIA X range. This allows the microphones to adjust to the vertical/horizontal positioning of the wearer in relation to the incoming sounds and speech. This is the only range of aids in this latest set of offerings from the major manufacturers that come in all styles (In-The-Ear as well as Behind-The-Ear, which is the only style for most of these manufacturers in their latest models).
All of these aids come in rechargeable format and come with wireless streaming capabilities (for all Apple products, but only some Android products).
